Stopped for lunch this week. Not easy to find at all. 1 small sign in the gable - basically invisible at 65 mph, and in rural a setting. Parking and entrance are not visable at all from hwy. Burger and fries were good. If you don't want it well done, specify. Hubby had catfish hush puppies and fries, both good. Service was friendly. Place was clean, organized, and comfortable. But, Lots and Lots of empty tables. Approximately 12 slots near bar, no one playing. Maybe 10 or so seniors, all sitting at the bar with the owner.... I was wondering if that guy Tapper would walk in - from bar rescue. Signage would really help - what are you, what do you offer? An open sign? Customer cars? We enjoyed the visit and will return This is a nice little place and as business owners, we want you to thrive and not just survive!

My husband and I stopped here for the first time for lunch on our way to Montauk State Park. The food is absolutely incredible, we had the catfish, homemade cornbread, chicken wings and onion rings. Sounds like standard fare that anyplace could make, but it was probably the best catfish I’ve had in a long time. Every item we had was really good. Prices were absolutely on the very affordable side. Atmosphere is country bar, pool tables, and westerns on the TVs above the bar, expect a large smoking section, although there was a separate non-smoking area available. Staff was very friendly and welcoming to us as very obvious out-of-towners. We’ll be back.

If you love local dive bars, than you'll love it here. Food can be hit or miss depending on who is cooking. Service is also hit or miss depending on how busy it is, just like any other place. The atmosphere is definitely small town comradery, everyone knows everyone. It's the only bar in the area so it's busy on weekends.

Absolutely delicious. The grilled chicken sandwich was literally the best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life. Also, Stacy made me a custom drink she called the Watermelon Crawl and OMG it was too die for. I'm visiting from Oregon and this is my first time in Missouri or even this area of the country. I cannot wait to come back!!

If you want to go local, this fits the bill. Service was slow to start but once they made contact they came back alot to make sure we weren't thirsty and our food was good. We went with the Rib-eyes and they had great flavor. Not as much craft beer selection as one site mentioned. Thought they'd at least have some Piney River selections.
